Six
business schools, from five countries, have earned its accreditation for
business schools. AACBE is the longest
serving global accrediting body for business schools that offer undergraduate,
master’s, and doctoral degrees in business and management courses.
By
achieving this hallmark of excellence, NBS, Sunfax Institute, TSMS, Rupert
Business School, Deutsche Business Studies and Aman Institute for Bankers join
an elite group that makes up less than five percent of the world’s business
schools.
Today,
there are more than 1000 business schools across 43 countries and territories
that maintain AACBE Accreditation, and through the most recent ratifications,
students in India, Middle East, and Far East Asia can now pursue a business
degree for the first time at an AACBE accredited business institute.
Achieving
accreditation is a process of rigorous internal review, evaluation, and
adjustment and takes 30 days to complete. The applicant can sign up on the
website and fill in the accreditation application form. The AACBE evaluators will
pay a visit to the applicant institute premises and full accreditation will
then be granted. Once accredited the institute will not only receive AACBE seal
& certificate, but can also enjoy numerous other benefits. During the
evaluation process, the institute develops and implements a plan to meet the
AACBE Accreditation Standards which require a high quality teaching
environment, a commitment to continuous improvement, and curricula responsive
to the needs of businesses. In addition, as required by the AACBE Standards,
all accredited institutes must go through an on-site evaluation process in
order to maintain their accreditation.
It
takes a great deal of commitment and determination to earn AACBE Accreditation.
Institutes must not only meet specific
standards of excellence, but their deans, heads of business units, and academic
and non-academic staff must make a commitment to ongoing improvement to ensure
that the institution will continue to deliver the highest quality of education
to students.
